Playing Basketball in the Hood





I created this scene for achieving day light filtering through the window effect. This was an experiment to understand Image Based Lighting. The total number of polys used in this scene is 7,592. A single basketball  has a poly count of  1,590 (High poly). The lights used in the scene are area light (1) and directional light (2). The area light is integrated with mia portal light shade to get the desired effect. I used volume primitives to give a light fog effect to fill the scene. Finally, color adjustments were done in Photoshop to get the style of the 1980's.

Software's Used: Autodesk MAYA 2015, Adobe Photoshop CS6.
